Happy Thanksgiving! This is a wondrous moment when those throughout our country and beyond focus on GRATITUDE. We know that what we focus on expands and creates more of the same. My heart overflows with love and gratefulness for the power of this time in creating a world of loving appreciation and realization of our oneness.
As we conclude our Unity Foundations series for November this coming Sunday, we’ll share more on how to apply Unity’s fifth principle in practical ways in our lives.
Unity’s free online presentation of UNITY FOR TODAY (found under education on unity.org) states this fifth principle this way:
“Knowing and understanding the laws of life also called Truth, are not enough. A person must also live the Truth that he or she knows.”
Living from GRATITUDE in heart, mind, words and actions is a great demonstration of living the Truth we know. It recognizes God as the One Power and as good and others as a spark of divinity and therefore also inherently good. Focusing on gratitude applies the Law of Mind Action and therefore creates a positive reality. When we also practice positive prayer from this inner space of gratitude, we apply the affirmative prayer process Unity teaches.
Let gratitude lead you to a heartfelt, loving, empowering Thanksgiving and everyday.
Prayer:
With overflowing hearts we say thank you God, for life, love, peace and harmony. We pray in gratitude for your Presence, Light, love and abundance in our lives and in our world. We are grateful. And so it is. Amen and Aaah, yes!
