  • Love...As a Movement

Love is the answer, no matter what the question, by Romantic Poetess followers.

Love is a Choice! No matter what the issue is! What if we endeavored, dared even, to do simple things that could change our behavior so we live from love consciously/as a group/with each choice and action? Dare to Imagine!

We can Start with us, simple things and make a massive movement with profound consequences and worldwide ramifications. Love is the one thing we all need and crave because it is the source of who we are!

Come Sunday and lets explore simple choices for a worldwide movement Love as a Movement Together

Until we meet try singing this - a twist on an old standard. Im just saying… Notice any changes in attitude or feelings.

Let There be Love on Earth and Let It begin with Me
Let There be Love on Earth the Love that was meant to be
With God as our Power, Loved Ones all are we
Let Us walk with each other in perfect harmony

Let Love begin with Me, Let this be the Moment Now
With every thought I think, Let this be my Joyous Vow
To take each Moment and LIVE each moment in LOVE ETERNALLY
LET THERE BE LOVE ON EARTH AND LET IT BEGIN WITH ME.
NOW THERE IS LOVE ON EARTH AND NOW IT BEGINS WITH ME

If we have Love, are Love, we have Peace. Think about it! See you Sunday.

  • Denials and Affirmations

One of Unity’s basic tenants is the idea of denial and affirmation. Most of us can resonate with the idea of affirmations because they are positive and we sincerely want to eliminate negativity from our lives. For many years, I used affirmations without denials because I was a Unity “Pollyana,” only focusing on the good.

During a health challenge when I was in Ministerial School, I was trying very hard to heal myself by using affirmations. I was getting worse, even though I was spending more than an hour a day in prayer and meditation. As part of my class work, I began reading, “Keep A True Lent” by Charles Fillmore, co-founder of Unity. There is a forty-day lesson plan for the 40 days of Lent. The first lesson was “Denials.” As I read it, I realized that I did not understand what denials were and I was not using this Spiritual principle properly.

To properly use a denial, we don’t deny that something negative exists. Rather, we deny that it has any power over us. This is a subtle but interesting difference. As I began to practice using denials and affirmations, my health started to get better.

If you are experiencing something in your life that no longer serves you, I invite you to begin denying that the issue has any power over you and your life. Create a positive affirmation to go with your denial and you will experience real Spiritual power.

    Abundant blessings,

    Rev. Lori

  • Mining Your Mind

The founders of the Unity teaching, Charles and Myrtle Fillmore were people of what we would call the miraculous. They were demonstrators of the Divine sublime in form. Both Charles and Myrtle manifested physical healings by valuing their inner essence connected to the One. The Fillmores accomplished this even when their own followers considered it impossible in their day, and is still considered unexplainable in ours.

Thanks to the human potential movement, quantum physics and the internet, news of our true capabilites are rapidly revealing the working of the Presence Within. These are things the ancients accepted thousands of years before. For most of us this is frightening rather than something we long for or crave to uncover!

The time is now! You and I have come to the planet to be part of a time the Ancients predicted. We have before us the opportunity to move into the realization of our Divinity in the body and know more joy and health, regeneration, rejuvenation, abundance and peace!

  • Use Our Abundance

When I was awakening to 'new thought', I read a passage from Ernest Holmes -"Prosperity is the out-picturing of
substance in our affairs. Everything in the Universe is for us. Nothing is against us. Life is ever giving of itself. We must receive, utilize and extend the gift. Success and prosperity are spiritual attributes belonging to ALL people but not necessarily used by all people." Join me on Sunday, May 27th to learn how we can "Use our Abundance".

  • Hole, Whole, and Holy

Sometimes we may feel like we have fallen into a hole and just cannot get out of the situations we find ourselves in.  When we use Spiritual principles we can return to wholeness and begin to live the transcendent life we were intended to live.  Join us this Sunday at Unity of Divine Love, Chandler's Celebration Service at 10:00am and learn some tools on we can begin to rise above the mundane, everyday world into our God-intended magnificence.

  • Daily Word - Power

    From DailyWord, a Unity publication @ www.dailyword.com

I use the power of my words to co-create the life I want to live.

In the first creation story of the Bible, God creates the universe by speaking into the void. God’s words bring light, sky and all visible and physical aspects of the world into being.

With this as my model, I use my words intentionally to create a life of meaning and purpose. I create harmony in my home, workplace and community by mindfully choosing my words. If I am tempted to complain or blame, I turn within. In the Silence, I affirm the light of God in the situation. A new way of being emerges.

My creative power is reflected in my words, so I choose them carefully. I affirm abundance, wholeness and peace.

"God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, the first day." --- Genesis 1:5

  • Return to the Goddess - Mother of All

This Sunday we celebrate Mother’s Day by honoring birth mothers and those who have mothered us in physical form. This is a beautiful tribute and important day for Moms. Let us take it deeper by honoring and acknowledging the Divine Feminine Goddess of all.

What is the Divine Feminine and why It is so vitally important to discover, nurture and integrate in our lives today. It is in our separation from God and/or the Goddess that all of our life challenges stem. If we truly knew that the separation never occurred and that we could be re-united with the Goddess – mother of all – would our lives change? If we experienced from the Divine Feminine all the love that we always desired, that we never quite got – yes, our lives would change profoundly.

  • Divine Heritage

“We begin our religious experience, our unity with Divine Mind, by having faith in that mind as omnipresent, all wise, all loving, all-powerful Spirit…Faith in the spiritual man quickens spiritual understanding.” From The Twelve Powers of Man by Unity co-founder Charles Fillmore.

It is extremely challenging for us to leap over or transform the walls of illusion and separation. We have been made to see the world as human beings; limited, disconnected, abandoned with a deep sense of unworthiness. None of that is true! But to find what is truly ours we have to be willing to consciously move into the Land of I AM, into the land of being, understanding and acceptance.

I love that the Disciple this month is Thomas better known to the masses as “doubting Thomas.” Jesus is said to have appeared to the Disciples at least twice. The first time created quite the stir to begin with but because Thomas was not there, he declares that he doesn’t believe and won’t believe until he can put his fingers in the wounds of Christ. And so Love personified returns to let him do just that, Yeshua (Jesus) appears again.

  • Preparing the Garden

Sunday marks the beginning of a new year – the year 2012, a year that holds promises of renewal and hopes of a planetary shifting of consciousness. The theme this month for our Sunday Services will be “renewal.” What do we need to do in order to renew personally and collectively as we go into this New Year? In a garden we spend time working to prepare for the renewal of the plant life. We clean out the dead and dying plants – the ones that are no longer serving us. We put them in the compost pile and transform them into fertilizer for the next generation of growth. We can transform our consciousness and our lives in a similar manner. We can use Unity teachings to transform that which is no longer serving us into a higher level of consciousness that will support the renewal we would like to see in our personal and collective lives.

Please join me Sunday in a transformational ceremony in which we use the burning bowl ritual to help us prepare our personal garden to create an ideal environment in which to plant our seeds of transformation as we deliberately nurture the beautiful garden yearning to bloom within each of our hearts.

    Love and Joy,
    Judy Hildebrand
3rd year ministerial student at Unity Institute

  • Merry Christmas!

Every Christmas we commemorate the Birth of Jesus. But the real celebration comes when we allow personal recognition of the Christ nature to be born and grow Itself within us. Thank You For The Gift You Bring! The Christ knocks at the door of our Being constantly that we may open up, even more, to the power endowed by the Creator. Thank You For The Gift You Bring! The nature of the Christ teaches us how to allow power to flow through us and create lives so fulfilled and abundant we can’t even imagine. Thank You For The Gift You Bring! However every once in awhile, because of Grace, we get a glimpse of the greater reality.

While the exact date of Yeshua/Jesus’s birth may be questionable, the impact of His coming is profound, beyond a doubt. This Christmas let the gift of the Christ be born/renewed in you. That, raises the vibration of the Gifts We Bring! It is Time Beloved!

And Now may Sacred Unity and the Grace of the Christ be made manifest in us all!

  • Our Greatest Gifts

Serving one another through the use of our Spiritual Gifts by structuring our individual lives and our ministry around our giftedness is why we are here. Knowing where we are spiritually gifted will help us know where to put our focus, energy, and time.

Come and enjoy insights from me, Rev. Rob, on how to identify more of your personal giftedness. We will discuss how to strengthen your spiritual gifts and define your purpose for the benefit of those in your life. Join us in the deeper spiritual purpose of the season which reminds us of giving, sharing and the joy of the Christmas season.

Looking forward to being with you on Sunday, December 18th at 10:00am at Unity of Divine Love's Celebration Service.

    In Joy,
    Rev. Rob

  • A New Archetype – Omni-Dimensional You

    ar•che•type
    noun
    1.
the original pattern or model from which all things of the same kind are copied or on which they are based; a model or first form; prototype.
    2.
(in Jungian psychology) a collectively inherited unconscious idea, pattern of thought, image, etc., universally present in individual psyches.

We are the new/ancient archetype that is the original pattern of creation. As we open to consciously living from omni-dimensional awareness, we realize the Truth of who we are as a spiritual model for our time. Let’s explore together this Sunday the power of living from within our greatest spiritual self with an awakened awareness of the new archetype we are setting into the consciousness of our planet. We will set ourselves free to own and honor the amazing gifts of omni-dimensional awareness.

Your Spirit will be dancing and singing in celebration!!

  • Joy

From Daily Word, daily inspiration from Unity @ www.dailyword.com

One with God and all life, I radiate pure joy!

The expression of joy is often contagious. A genuine smile or an honest burst of laughter can inspire joy within the hearts of everyone nearby.

Joy is one of the great rewards of my connection with God, with others and with all life. As I give in joy, I receive joyously. When I share a tender moment with another, watch an inspiring movie, or simply think about the people I love, joy often arises.

Turning within, I discover the great joy of God's gentle presence and the simple pleasure of being one with God. My time in the silence of prayer brings me a sense of soul satisfaction as joy wells up within me. Returning to the world around me, I radiate pure joy.

"May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face to shine upon us." ---Psalm 67:1
