Journey into Wilderness
Life is a continual journey and most of it is experienced in the Wilderness, or the unknown. How exciting is that?
Sunday morning at Unity of Divine Love Spiritual Center is a time when we are blessed with an opportunity to take a deliberate pause in our joyful and busy lives to consciously breathe into our own divinity in a community of like minded beings. Each and every congregant journeys here by divine appointment, to create space for the unfoldment of their soul during its journey of oneness and to be a support for others in their soul unfoldment. As each divine being travels their own individual journey we experience times when we connect with others and travel in community and times when we travel alone. Unity of Divine Love Spiritual Center is the sum of all our journeys as we dance together, sometimes leading, sometimes following, sometimes supporting, and sometimes twirling along a common path creating our personal and our community transformation.
According to the four Gospels in the Bible, Jesus entered the wilderness following his baptism and returned frequently in order to prepare for the next level of his ministry. As Rev. Kyra takes time to walk a different path and to enter the wilderness alone this summer, Unity of Divine Love will be blessed with opportunities as a community to also enter the wilderness or the unknown. As we journey on our path this summer we will be blessed with wonderful opportunities to look through different colored lenses and to vision from different perspectives as we explore and share ideas of congregants, guest speakers, and guest ministers. We will be blessed with opportunities to support each other in ways that may be different than in the past as we each and everyone step up to our next level of personal ministry.
I am grateful for the chance to step up to another level of ministry and to serve with each and every one of you. As I flew in and out for brief visits throughout the year, I could see such wonderful transformations occurring in the community and in so many of you at a personal level. I am excited about meeting all of the new congregants and reconnecting with others.
Please join us this Sunday for a Sharing Sunday. We will be exploring Wilderness journeys, the experiences of the unknown and the absolute beauty as well as the creation of possibilities that is inherent with each Wilderness journey.

“I Am the realization of the Presence of God. Wherever I am I know myself to be in this Divine Presence and I know that everything I touch shall be blessed. The Presence of God is the source of my inspiration, constantly renewing and vitalizing me. The Presence of God sustains me. The Allness of God shows me my own Infinity and protects me from the narrowness of my vision. The Presence of God vibrates within me and radiates from me. I rest in the secret place of God’s infinite Love and I let this exuberant emotion permeate my being. I am still in the Presence of God and let this exalting Peace fill my soul. I am Divine consciousness – illumined intuition – pure bliss. And I am grateful and so it is.”
