Sunday marks the beginning of a new year – the year 2012, a year that holds promises of renewal and hopes of a planetary shifting of consciousness. The theme this month for our Sunday Services will be “renewal.” What do we need to do in order to renew personally and collectively as we go into this New Year? In a garden we spend time working to prepare for the renewal of the plant life. We clean out the dead and dying plants – the ones that are no longer serving us. We put them in the compost pile and transform them into fertilizer for the next generation of growth. We can transform our consciousness and our lives in a similar manner. We can use Unity teachings to transform that which is no longer serving us into a higher level of consciousness that will support the renewal we would like to see in our personal and collective lives.
Please join me Sunday in a transformational ceremony in which we use the burning bowl ritual to help us prepare our personal garden to create an ideal environment in which to plant our seeds of transformation as we deliberately nurture the beautiful garden yearning to bloom within each of our hearts.
Love and Joy,
